I enjoyed a spacious room with lovely views over farmland, and the breakfast selection was good with attentive staff. there were challenges with food and drink availability during my stay, and I noticed the absence of changing facilities for babies, which could be improved.

The vegetable Wellington was fantastic, but the pool area was messy.

missingWrote a review on Dec 08large roomvast selectiondilapidated facilities
The room was large with a wet room and an upgraded space that provided ample room to spread out. The breakfast area had a vast selection that could accommodate a large group comfortably.
The hotel seriously needs to upgrade its facilities. the room felt stuck in the 1950s with poor decor and a standard double bed that didn’t match the size of the room. The outdoor areas were unkempt with debris in the water feature and walkways showing signs of neglect. Only one towel of each type was available in the room. The car charging point was inoperative, adding further to the disappointment.

Facilities in dire need of improvement!!! Rooms feel stuck in the 1950s with dated decor, insufficient towels, and poorly maintained outdoor areas with debris in the water feature. Car charging station didn't work!!!

missingWrote a review on Aug 13spacious roomimpressive architecturelimited food servicelack of bar drinksadvertised food unavailable
The impressive architecture and tranquil grounds provided a delightful backdrop to the stay. While the room was spacious and impeccably clean, food and bar service were limited during the stay due to a large wedding event. The breakfast offerings were decent, but the absence of cheese sandwiches, which were advertised, was notable. Improvements could be made in ensuring food availability for all guests, particularly during peak events.

I loved the beautifully served meals during my stay, especially the delicious puddings that were hard to resist! The relaxing library and cozy fire in the entrance hall made it a perfect spot to unwind after a busy day. Just a heads-up, the parking area could use a little sprucing up, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. 😊
